Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Parama Sidha Khattiya Suriya Varman Brhat Maha Sri Chao Chandradipati Prabhu Kumara Sundhara Dharmadhata Praditsa Rajadipati Sri Sadhana Kanayudha Udarmapuri Rajadhani Damrungsa Lavaya Bunsabidaya Anuraksha Riyangsakra Sadhidnaya Luang Prabang Dhani [Tiantha-Rath Koumane], King of Lan Xang Hom Khao. b. ca. 1797, as Prince (Anga Sadet Chao Fa Jaya) Nandaraja [Nantharath], second son of H.M. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Mangthaduraja [Manthathurath], King of Luang Prabang, educ. Bangkok. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, 23rd September 1850. Recognised by the King of Siam, raised to the title of Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Parama Sidha Khattiya Suriya Varman Brhat Maha Sri Chandra Raja Prabhu Kumara, and Crowned at the Royal Palace, Luang Prabang, January 1851. Raised to the title of Chao Chandradipati Prabhu Kumara Sundhara Dharmadhata Praditsa Rajadipati Sri Sadhana Kanayudha Udarmapuri Rajadhani Damrungsa Lavaya Bunsabidaya Anuraksha Riyangsakra Sadhidnaya Luang Prabang Dhani by the King of Siam. Succeeded in having the Brhat Bang image restored to Luang Prabang by King Mongkut, 1867. He d.s.p. at the Royal Palace, Luang Prabang, August 1870.

1870 - 1895 H.M. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Parama Sidha Khattiya Suriya Varman Brhat Maha Sri Mahindra Deva Dipakara [Mahinthonethep Naphaphone], King of Luang Prabang. b. 1811, as Prince (Anga Sadet Chao Fa Jaya) Angama [Oun-Kham], fourth son of H.M. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Mangthaduraja [Manthathurath], King of Luang Prabang, educ. privately in Luang Prabang an with the Corps of Pages, Bangkok, Siam. Appointed as Heir Apparent and Deputy ruler with  the title of Samdach Chao Maha Uparaja (Viceroy), and formally invested by the King of Siam, at Bangkok, 1851. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother in August 1870 but was not recognised by the Siamese authorities until 1872. Recognised by the King of Siam, raised to the title of Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Parama Sidha Khattiya Suriya Varman Brhat Maha Sri Mahindra Deva Dipakara, and formally crowned at the Royal Palace, Luang Prabang, 1874. Fled to Xienkarn in 1887 after an attack by the Ho of the Black Flag (Chinese rebels of the Taiping rebellion), led by the Prince of Laichau. Removed from executive power by the King of Siam in favour of his eldest son and ordered to remove himself to Bangkok, September 1887 to April 1888. Returned to Luang Prabang, 2nd May 1888. Rcvd: GC of the Order of the Crown of Siam (1888). m. (first) H.M. Queen (Samdach Brhat Rajini Akkhara Maha Sri) Sri Ambali [Simphali], who had an only son. m. (second) H.M. Queen (Samdach Brhat Rajini Akkhara Maha Sri) Kamana [Khamone] (b. 1826 - aged 73 in 1899). m. (third) H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Budi, who had two sons and a daughter. m. (fourth) H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Buvanasiri [Buasi], who had a son and a daughter. m. (fifth) H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Obma, who had three sons and a daughter. m. (fifth) Princess (Chao Mom) Ka, who had one son. m. (a) Mom Pungi [Pong], who had one son. m. (b) Mom Bunga Kaeva [Phaeng Kaev], who had one son. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Parama Sidha Khattiya Suriya Varman Brhat Maha Sri Sakarindra Ridhi Dharma Varman [Zakarinth], King of Luang Prabang. b. 16th July 1840, as Kamasukra [Kham-Souk], eldest son of H.M. Samdach Brhat Chao Maha Sri Vitha Lan Xang Hom Khao Luang Prabang Parama Sidha Khattiya Suriya Varman Brhat Maha Sri Mahindra Deva Dipakara [Mahinthonethep Naphaphone], King of Luang Prabang, by his principal wife, H.M. Queen (Samdach Brhat Rajini Akkhara Maha Sri) Sri Ambali, educ. privately. Appointed as third dignitary and invested with the title of Raja Varman. Commanded the Luang Prabang forces sent against the Haws during their first invasion of 1874-1877, and again during the second invasion in 1885-1887, but fled to Bangkok after Deo-van-tri attacked and sacked the capital at Luang Prabang in June 1887. Appointed as Regent for his father by the King of Siam, April 1888. Forced to accept a French protectorate over the kingdom, 3rd October 1893. Succeeded on the death of his father, 15th December 1895. Crowned at Luang Prabang, 14th July 1896. He introduced several important reforms under French prompting, including the freedom of slaves, the abolition of slavery and equality before the law for all subjects. Rcvd: the Kim Khanh Decoration 1st class of Annam, GC of the Orders of the White Elephant and Crown of Siam, and the Dragon of Annam, GO of the Royal Order of Cambodia, Cdr of the Order of the Legion of Honour of France. m. (first) H.M. Queen (Samdach Brhat Rajini Akkhara Maha Sri) Dungdi [Thong-dy] (d.s.p.m. at Luang Prabang, ca. 1948), elder sister of Princess Kanthi. m. (second) H.M. Queen (Samdach Brhat Rajini Akkhara Maha Sri) Dungsiri [Thong-sy] (b. at Luang Prabang, ca. 1855; d. there, 8th May 1930), daughter of a high-ranking Prince and Minister of State. m. (third) Mom Bangi Narindra [Pheng Norindr]. m. (fourth) H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Princess Indira [In]. m. (fifth) H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Nukima [Noukhim]. m. (sixth) H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Buvanasiri [Bouasi]. m. (seventh) H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Kamani [Khamune]. m. (eighth) H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Kanthi [Chanthy], younger sister of Queen Dungdi. m. (ninth) H H.H. Princess (Sadet Chao Nying) Kamapiri [Khampin]. He d. from apoplexy, at Luang Prabang, 25th March 1904, having had issue, ten sons and seven daughters:
