As a produced WGA screenwriter and published author with Asperger’s/high-functioning autism, Dylan thrives on writing dramatic genre narratives that display the intricate and complicated humanity in every character. Once struggling with interpersonal relationships, he aims to show the joy and complexity that result from dynamic relationships through internal and far-reaching external conflict. He uses his perspective and photographic memory to build detailed worlds while maintaining strict continuity. After graduating with a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Central Oklahoma, Sage Hill Publishing released Dylan’s first character-driven space opera novel SURVIVAL DARK TIMES in July 2019, which reached #2 on various Amazon sci-fi lists during a free e-book sale. The sequel SURVIVAL DARK TIMES 2: UNLEASHED followed in June 2020. He also worked with short film studio The Slate from 2020-2022, co-running a writing team of experienced TV/Film writers to create cutting-edge stories, breaking down barriers to create a greater spirit of collaboration and seeing one of his own shorts (A FATHER’S DUTY, Drama/YA/Sci-fi) take Runner-Up for Best Short Film in the Fatherhood Image Film Festival. Coverfly brought him into their Endorsed Writer Program in May 2022. When not working on novels, he continues to work with various Hollywood production companies and work on TV scripts.
