These Llamas or Alpacas were inspired by a friend who asked if I could weave Llamas. The PDF Tie-up is written for a Jack or rising shed loom. If you have a sinking shed or Counter Marche loom you will need to adapt the tie up and use a skeletal tie up. NOTE: These instructions assume you are familiar with the Summer Winter weave structure. This structure is woven with one warp and two wefts. The plain weave, also called the ground or tabby weft and the pattern or supplementary weft. For more information on this structure there are many references on the internet or in book. After purchasing if you have trouble downloading contact me with an email and I will send them to you. You can decide if you want a border at both ends or just one end. The suggested amount of yardage includes yarn for a border at both ends. Fabric Description: Plain weave with summer winter: using two or three shuttles I plan on adding a YouTube recording showing how to weave part of the image. The link for the video will be added to the pattern once it is completed. If you have any questions about this pattern please contact me.
