Nagano Park is a prefectural park situated at the foot of Mt. Kongo, dubbed "the roof of Osaka," and comprising the five districts of Nagano, Kanshinji, Kawaidera, Emmeiji and Amanosan. All of these districts are located within the Kongo-Ikoma-Kisen Quasi National Park, blessed with abundant nature of red pine and cedar forests. The Amanosan district is approximately 5.4 km southwest of Kawachinagano Station on the Nankai Koya Line/Kintetsu Nagano Line, and is within a short walk from Nankai Bus "Amanosan" stop. This district has campgrounds, where visitors can also enjoy forest walking and bird watching. In the vicinity are a tourist farm and Kansai Cycle Sports Center, in addition to Amanosan Kongoji Temple, which is a long-established temple known as "Nyonin-koya Amano-angu," founded in the Nara period (8th century) by the priest Gyoki. Each district of Nagano Park boasts distinctive attractions, such as graceful spring cherry blossoms in the Nagano district, some 5,000 beautiful hydrangeas in the Kawaidera district, beautifully colored autumn leaves in the Emmeiji district, and spectacular views from the Kanshinji-maruyama district.
