Canyon Creek Campground is located on Canyon Creek in a mixed conifer forest, below Faucherie Reservoir. It is a remote campground with 20 campsites, vault toilets, bear proof food lockers, paved parking and no trash service (pack it in, pack it out.) Skillman Horse Campground is located along Hwy 20. Campground has corrals, hitching posts, and horse troughs available under large pines and cedars. Pioneer Trail accesses this campground and is popular among equestrians fs.usda.gov/
On North Bloomfield Rd., about 45 minutes from Nevada City. BLM managed campground. First come, first serve. 16 sites, 8 of these can accommodate RV′s (up to 27′). No hookups. Pit toilets. Running water. Barbecue grill, tables. Rough road.
White Cloud Campground is a pretty campground located right off of Hwy 20 in a nice wooded area. No nearby lakes; however, immediatley adjacent to the campground is Pioneer Trail, used by hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. fs.usda.gov/
