Eagles Fall to Tahoka in Bi-District Playoff Round
The 2024 edition of the Eldorado Eagles football team advanced to the 2A State Playoffs for the seventh consecutive year, but made an early exit on Friday, November 15th, after running into the Tahoka Bulldogs at Memorial Stadium in Big Spring where they suffered a 46-19 loss.
QUARTERBACK SACK -- Jonah Penkszyk sacks McCamey quarterback Trace McMurray during the first quarter of last Friday night’s season finale at Larry Mitchel Stadium. The Eagles scored first and never look back as they coasted to a 66-6 win. In addition to the QB sack, Penkszyk tallied two solo tackles, three assists, and two tackles for loss. He also scored a touchdown on a 12-yard pass from Jonnie Rae Adame and fell on a McCamey fumble in the end zone for a safety. --
