- The Academy comprises the Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Comtemporanea (Modern and Contempary Art Gallery), Museo (Museum), and the Accademia di Belle Arti (Fine Arts Academy). The Museo includes paintings by 15-19th century artists such as Pisanello, Botticelli, Giovanni Bellini, Mantegna, Raffaello, Moroni, Baschenis, Fra Galgario, Tiepolo, Canaletto e Piccio.
- A database for the Museo is accessible by selecting Museo and Catalogo dei dipinti on the left hand side of the website and Vai al catalogo online on the displayed page.
- Search options include artist, iconography, subject, dates, technique, location, origin, and keyword. Dropdown menus for most categories are available.
- Each painting is illustrated and each entry includes artist, title, date, dimensions, artistic school, inventory number, date of acquisition and provenance.
- The Accademia's Library has over 12,000 books and is open to the public. The catalogue can be consulted online through l'OPAC
- The archival records of the Accademia can be consulted on request.

- This museum houses an extensive collection of works by Michelangelo in all media. There is also a collection of paintings, sculptures and maiolica executed by Michelangelo’s contemporaries and followers.

- The Galleria Borghese comprises a number of collections at various locations. The Galleria Borghese itself has paintings and sculpture from the 15th to the 18th centuries. The collection was initially put together by Cardinal Scipio Borghese in the 16th and 17th centuries.
