The Act received Royal Assent on 23rd April 2002. Sections 1, 23, 24, 26(2) and 27 and Schedule 1 came into force on Royal Assent.

2Commencement of Provisions

The Scottish Public Services Ombudsman Act 2002 in so far as not already in force shall come into force on 23rd October 2002.
