Amendment of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994U.K.

23.—(1) Section 25 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 (no bail for defendants charged with or convicted of homicide or rape after previous conviction of such offences) M1 is amended as follows.

(2) In subsection (2), in the opening words, for “subsection (3)” substitute “ subsection (3A) ”.

(3) Omit subsection (3).

(4) Omit subsection (3B).

(5) In subsection (5), omit the definition of “relevant foreign offence”.

(6) Omit subsection (5A).
