Regions Party leader Victor Yanukovych does not rule out talks with current Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko provided that Tymoshenko publicly apologizes to him for the accusations she made during her election campaign.
"Anyone, who refuses to negotiate with a politician who has millions of voters supporting her, would be stupid. [But] anyone beginning such negotiations without a public apology from Tymoshenko for what she said would have no honor," Yanukovych told Interfax-Ukraine on Feb. 12, when asked whether he would talk to Tymoshenko if she were to approach him.
