Kunstmuseum Den Haag has a treasure chamber of over 160.000 pieces of art. Here we work on making the highlights from this collection available online.
We strongly advise you to book an online ticket with start time. This way you don't have to go to the box office.
It is not possible to cancel tickets. However, you can rebook the tickets to a new date. In the confirmation email with your online tickets you will find a link with which you can do this. This of course depends on availability on the desired new date.
It is not necessary to print your ticket. It can also be scanned from your phone.
You can also get tickets at the museum box office. Depending on how busy it is at that time, it may take a while before you can enter the museum.
Always first check whether the payment was successful and whether the purchase amount has been debited. Furthermore, we advise you to check your junk email, spam or other email folders.
If the email with your tickets is still not found, our servicedesk is happy to help you.

From February 15 to June 8, 2025, a large exhibition brings together works from extraordinary international collections: the biggest names in Impressionism, and for the first time in the Netherlands, Monet's three cityscapes will be displayed together. Bringing all these collections together is a unique opportunity to see these works here. However, such a project is exceptionally costly for the museum. Therefore, the museum is obliged to charge a surcharge for your visit. Note: you only pay the surcharge once. You'll receive a sticker, so you won’t have to pay the surcharge on subsequent visits.
Yes, in principle, it does. During New Paris: From Monet to Morisot, we will charge a €5 surcharge per ticket, which applies to the entire museum. By implementing this surcharge, we can continue to offer a comprehensive and inspiring program throughout the year. To ensure accessibility, we have certain exceptions: Adults and Museum Card holder pay the full surcharge. Students and CJP cardholders pay half the surcharge (€2.50). Visitors under 18 years of age do not pay the surcharge. Visitors with an Ooievaarspas do not pay the surcharge. There is no surcharge for anyone up below the age of 18, Museum Friends, and holders of certain other specific cards. You can find the complete overview here.
Accompanying persons of visitors with disabilities also do not pay the surcharge. Additionally, we have arranged it so that visitors only pay the surcharge once, even if they visit multiple times.
The museum and museum shop accept all common credit cards. You may also pay by bank card.
You can buy a Museumkaart (annual museum pass giving free entry to many of the Netherlands’ museums, previously known as Museumjaarkaart) at the ticket office, price € 75.00 each for adults and €39.00 for children up to the age of 18.
