Our current hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 09:30 am - 4:30 pm. Tickets may be purchased ONLINE. Visitors may also purchase their tickets on-site.
About the Museum
The Museum of the Jimmy Carter Library provides a unique experience for the visitor. Through immersive exhibitions of objects, documents, and photographs, videos, and beautiful gifts from world leaders, visitors can get a close-up view of the modern American Presidency. Museum Highlights include a replica Oval Office, unique artifacts, and both permanent and temporary exhibits.
The Presidential Library is nestled between two lakes on 30 acres of park land and provides a tranquil setting with a view of the Atlanta skyline.
Museum Store
The Museum gift shop is open Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 4:45 pm. You can visit the eStore anytime!
Take a Virtual Tour
Through Google Arts & Culture, you can explore the museum from the comfort of home.
Navigate through the museum by clicking on the Xs on the ground and then use your mouse to follow the arrows left, right, up, and down. The tour begins in the Oval Office, where you decide which direction you will travel.
Exhibits
In addition to long-term and ongoing exhibits in the museum, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum contains a temporary gallery that changes content over the year with new exhibits.
Museum Highligths
Other highlights include a life-size replica of the Oval Office, a walk-through cabin-style exhibit setting showcasing information on the crucial Camp David Meetings, unique artifacts, and an Interactive Map Table that takes you with the Carters to monitor elections and fight diseases.
