While the filming location only lists Vancouver, BC, parts are also filmed in Hendersonville, NC. The 'Historic' Henderson County courthouse is clearly seen with Henderson County plainly visible, as well as sections of Main Street.

Goofs
When Ryan removes the burned cookies from the oven, the smoke alarm immediately stops sounding. Smoke alarms take some time to stop sounding until the smoke clears from the detection chamber.

This was a sweet story but with very little dramatic tension to hold my interest. Cute puppies but not much going on. The dialogue kept repeating and I felt bad for the actors - they had so little to work with. I love Hallmark movies and I wanted to like this movie, but the best I can say is that it was sweet but slow.
