Psycho unleashes a mind-controlled Ivy, Clayface, and King Shark on the Justice League who are trying to free Gotham.

Psycho must prove himself to Darkseid by capturing and killing Harley. Meanwhile, Harley and Kiteman join forces to save Ivy from the Justice League, who take on the Parademons and Psycho's mind-controlled minions. The two of them use the power of true love to free Ivy from Psycho's mind control.—Gislef

The mind-controlled Ivy walked into Bethany's house, saying that she's going to kill Harley. She throws Harley outside and animated plants to attack her friend, while Joker watches from the living room and drinks coffee. Kiteman rescues Harley and he tells her that Psycho is now all-powerful as parademons fly past them. Harley says that she'll kill Psycho and tells Kiteman to buy his tuxedo rather than rent it.

Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman fight the parademons rampaging through Gotham, and Superman throws the parademon nest into space. Wonder Woman questions a parademon to Psycho's location, and Superman translates.

At the mall, Psycho and Riddler watch as Psycho uses Shark to say what his most embarrassing moment was. Under Psycho's mental prodding, Shark reveals that he ate his brother when he scraped his knee. A parademon smashes in, and Darkseid uses its communicator to project himself. He asks if Psycho has produced Harley yet, and Psycho says that her head will show up any moment as Riddler sees the Justice League heroes on TV fighting the parademons. He interrupts Psycho to tell him that the heroes destroyed the parademons and are coming there. Psycho assures Darkseid that everything is fine, and Darkseid reminds Psycho that he swore the same oath that Harley swore... and broke. Darkseid says that he'll appear at nightfall to collect someone's head and it's Psycho's choice who.

Once Darkseid signs off, Clayface and Shark tell Psycho that the League will defeat him. Riddler agrees, and Psycho tells him to shut up and they'll kill the heroes before killing Harley.

Kiteman takes Harley to his apartment, his Kiteness of Solitude, and Harley says that they need to destroy Psycho's helmet. When Kiteman points out that they can't get close to Psycho without him taking control of them, Harley wonders why Sy could resist Psychos' mind control. She looks at Sy's cybernetic eye that he gave her before he sacrificed himself. The eye blinks at her and Kiteman realizes that it's Morse code, and translates it to say that they should plug it in.

Harley plugs the eye into Kiteman's big-screen TV, and Sy says that he transferred his human consciousness into a machine. He says that the CIA made an anti-mind-control device and put it in his head, and he tells them how they can make one. Harley asks what they do if they can't get the components, and the three heroes fly by outside to take on Ivy's giant plant.

Riddler watches the hero fight on TV, and tells Psycho that there's still time to fleet. Psycho tells him to go if he wants to go, but he's not going to take Riddler back.

Batman tells Ivy to stand down, and the mind controlled villainess attacks them with plants, and Psycho sends Clayface and Shark to help her. Clayface grows to giant-size and attacks the heroes, while Kiteman makes an anti-mind-control device under Sy's direction. Harley tells Kiteman that if he doesn't figure it out, the person she loves is going to die and quickly adds "friend". She grabs Kiteman's kite pack and says that she's going to save Ivy, and glides easily off.

The heroes and villains evenly matched, and Harley arrives and tells Wonder Woman that she and Ivy saved Themyscira from Luthor. Wonder Woman isn't impressed, and Harley kicks Wonder Woman's sword into her cheek. Shark smells the blood and attacks Wonder Woman, and Harley throws a rock at Clayface as he grabs Batman. She tries to get through to Ivy, and Ivy knocks Harley away and returns to attacking Superman. Ivy escaped via an animated plant and Superman goes after her, while Harley goes after the kite she got there on.

Wonder Woman lures Shark into Freeze's ice dome and defeats him when he slips on the ice and breaks her teeth on her bracelets.

Batman blows up two freezer units on the roof where Clayface has cornered him, freezing the villain solid.

Harley flees to Riddler U then animated a giant plant to attack Superman. Harley arrives and says that the real Ivy is still there. Ivy grabs Harley with a plant and leaves, and Superman breaks free, poses for some bystanders, and then goes after Ivy. Batman and Wonder Woman join Superman in pursuing Ivy.

Kiteman finishes making the device and blows out the TV Sy is using. Sy has put his consciousness in a cake mixer and says that they should finish the device.

Ivy flees to Wayne Tower and the heroes follow her. Harley suggests that they shouldn't use violence and Batman agrees since the tower has seen enough damage. He pulls Harley free of Ivy's vines, and Superman and Wonder Woman take Ivy down. Superman says that Ivy is too dangerous to let go, and Harley says that she loves Ivy more than anything in the whole world. The Kryptonian explains that he's just going to put Ivy in the Phantom Zone, and Harley tells him to send her there as well.

Psycho speaks through Ivy, saying that it's all dramatic, and says that they should have killed Ivy when they had the chance. He has Ivy unleash a vial of her pheromones, making Batman and Wonder Woman fall in love with each other. Superman flirts with Harley, and Ivy frees herself and leaves with Harley. Kiteman flies overhead, following them.

Psycho and Riddler are happy that the heroes are defeated, and Psycho is thrilled that Ivy is bringing her Harley. Darkseid teleports in and grabs Psycho, and demands to know where Harley is. Psycho shows Darkseid around the mall, stalling until Ivy arrives with Harley. Darkseid tells Psycho to kill Harley now and he'll summon his armies to conquer Earth. Psycho would rather rule galaxies for Darkseid, but Darkseid considers it unlikely.

Undeterred, Psycho says that he's going to do something epic. Darkseid, impressed, asks him what, and Psycho says that Ivy and Harley are involved. Meanwhile, Kiteman arrives, hides, and shows Harley the anti-mind-control device. They only have enough materials for two of them, and Kiteman puts one in Harley's ear. He tells her to put the other in Ivy's ear if his plan doesn't work, and his plan is true love.

Kiteman steps out and calls to Ivy, saying that he's her soul mate, and believes that his kiss will break Psycho's mind control. His kiss doesn't, and Ivy punches him away. Psycho tells Darkseid that it will be very poetic when Ivy kills Harley since Harley and Ivy are secret lovers. He tells Harley that he knows because he read Ivy's mind, and Harley insists that they're not secret lovers. Darkseid says that he's mildly intrigued by evil usurping love.

Ivy throws Harley to the floor and attacks her. Harley dodges away and begs Ivy not to make her hurt her. The two fight and Harley drops Ivy's device. Harley kisses Ivy, breaking Psycho's spell, and pus the device in Ivy's ear. Riddler tells Psycho to focus, and Psycho discovers his powers don't work on Harley and Ivy. Harley tells Psycho that he's just a goon with delusions of grandeur, and Psycho tells Darkseid that he'll both women because he's an all-powerful man.

After Ivy easily subdues Psycho, she and Harley tell him that he's just a loser with a hat. Harley breaks the amplifier helmet, and Darkseid tells Harley that she's proven herself more formidable than he thought and the deal stands. He says that on her command, his army will sweep forth and enslave the planet. Harley says that she doesn't want to rule Earth on a throne of skulls, and isn't a real super-villain and maybe not even a bad guy. All she's been doing is reacting, and Darkseid says that her indecision enrages him. Once day he will return and terraform Earth into a scrapyard, then leaves via a boom tube.

Harley tells Ivy that she calls her out on her bullshit but doesn't judge her for it, and Ivy showed her what the best version of herself could be and held her to it. She admits that she's in love with Ivy and wants to be with her, and says that it might destroy their friendship but love is a risk and she'd rather risk their friendship then pretend her feelings aren't real.

As the two women hold hands, Kiteman recovers consciousness and asks if his kiss worked. Psycho laughs in triumph and says that he'll tell Kiteman what happened. He projects a mental image of Ivy and Harley making love into the sky, and everyone in Gotham sees it. Psycho passes out from the effort, and Harley, Ivy, and Kiteman all look at each other.
