Battle in the Seven Years War which saw a rare defeat for Frederick the Great of Prussia against a smaller army. The 60,000 strong Prussian army was besieging Prague, when a 53,000 strong Austrian army led by Leopold von Daun engaged them in battle, beating them, and forcing them to lift the siege. Frederick lost half of his army and two of his best generals, along with much of his conquered territory, while the Austrians were even able to raid Berlin.
