Michael J. Fox
Michael Fox (born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, June 9, 1961) first became a TV star in the series Family Ties (1982-1989) and quickly graduated to becoming a film star in the Back to the Future trilogy (1985-1989-1990) directed by Robert Zemeckis. Other credits include: The Secret of My Success (1987) by Herbert Ross, Casualties of War (1989) by Brian De Palma, Doc Hollywood (1991) by Michael Caton-Jones, The Hard Way (1991) by John Badham, For Love or Money (1993) by Barry Sonnenfeld, The American President (1995) by Rob Reiner. On television Fox starred in Spin City (1996-2002), acted in The Good Wife (2010-2016). Fox revealed in 1998 his 1991 diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. In The Michael J. Fox Show (2013-2014) he portrayed TV reporter Mike Henry, who is struggling with Parkinson’s and the challenges of being a husband and father. Fox is married to actress Tracy Pollan and the father of four children.
