Overview
Branislav "Bane" Ivanovic is a Serbian footballer who plays for Chelsea F.C. He plays defense and is usually deployed as right back but prefers center back and has even threatened to leave Chelsea if he has to continue playing right back. He started his career in FK Remont Cacak and then moved to FK Srem. After that he spent three years at OFK Beograd before moving to Lokomotiv Moscow where he made a name for himself and won the Russian Cup. He moved to Chelsea in 2008 where after a year he joined the starting eleven. He has been in it since then and has scored 6 goals most of which from his dominance in the air. In his international career for Serbia he is consistently playing right back or center back.
