I also prepare family trees for friends, and buy old photos labeled with hints as to the individuals, that I research and attempt to reunite with the surviving family. It amazes, and saddens, me to see how many families discard old photos, that were lovingly preserved by family ancestors. I often find trays of them at estate sales.
