The main family names which I research are:
• Rich, from Virginia & West Virginia
• Gleaves, from Virginia
• Sickinger, from Pennsylvania & Ohio
• Benner, from Pennsylvania & Ohio

I don't create entries from newspaper obituaries, as many do. I put my boots on the ground, walking rows in cemeteries, taking photos of every headstone. Then I get online and compare my photos to what has already been recorded. Next, I add new entries where they don't already exist, and add headstone photos to previously existing entries that didn't have them before. I also connect the links to parents, spouses and children where possible, and add obituaries and biographical information. I'm not here just to accumulate numbers, I want to tell stories of amazing people and their lives.
