I live in Raleigh N.C., but grew up in Duplin County, where I still spend a lot of time and actually live there some of the time. Always had a great interest in family history on all sides of my family and only in the last couple of years discovered Find A Grave, and what a great tool it is for people doing family research. My involvement with it has been mostly piecing my family connections together, which I think is the greatest aspect of it. I also do it with other families of no relation that I happen to have knowledge of family connections. I wish I had time to go out and become more involved in recording memorials. My Scott family originated from Surry County Virginia and came to N.C around 1907. Names of other families I came from in the Duplin area are, Wells, Forlaw, Carr, Fussell, Bradshaw, Rouse, and Huffines and Wakefield in Guilford County.
