Bio

My name is Peggy Wooley-Dean. I was born on the island of Galveston, TX in 1953, to John "Jack" Henry Wooley, Sr. (FAG#52810046) and Edna Mae Lamb (FAG#97489474). We lived across the causeway in the town of Texas City, TX. I along with my brother, John and sister, Shirley were raised in the house our father built all by himself and attended school in TC. I met the man I married, Bruce Dean when I was 13yrs and he was 17yrs (he was born and raised in Texas City). As of this date 2017 we have been married for 47yrs. We moved to Dickinson, TX, not far from TC in 1972, here we raised our two wonderful sons that God blessed us with. John "J.C." bn 1972 (FAG#131946426) and Michael bn 1978. They have blessed us with five beautiful grandchildren- (John)-James, Alexandria and Victoria. (Michael)-Savanna, Aaron and Hunter Johnathan. Unfortunately - on the worst day of our lives, June 20 -2014, we suddenly lost our oldest son, John. The most horrible thing for parents to go through- But with God's help we are trying to focus on the future.
I think and believe this site of FindAGrave is one of the greatest things to be in existence on the internet - a place where people can honor and show their love and respect for family and friends by placing a memorial to show that everyone deserves to be remembered and that they did exist on this earth.
I thank FAG for the opportunity to place memorials for my family and friends and for being able to access and find information about others that help in my research for my family genealogy.
