I came across the findagrave website by accident one day while looking up my wife's obituary. I didn't know that it existed and was touched how someone had put in her obituary on the site. So I felt the need to help out other's as I can.

My wife Tammy Vance Alberthal is buried in the Boerne City Cemetery along with our first dog Oscar.

I retired from working in June 2012. Now I spend my time volunteering at several organizations and going to cemeteries to take pictures then update them on Find a Grave. I have walked and uploaded tombstone pictures of the entire Boerne City Cemetery, Mission Park North Cemetery in San Antonio (except for inside the mausoleum), Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio, Der Stadt Friedhof (City Cemetery) and Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery both in Fredericksburg. I go by and check the mausoleum at Mission Park North every now and then but have not found it open. Currently I'm working on Mission Park South Cemetery.

If you have an obituary for a person, please send it to me so I can add it. Any corrections please let me know!

I'm not a numbers person -- for memorials that I add, I try to find the obituary for the individual and add it to the memorial as well as a picture of the person (and give credit where I found it). I believe everyone has a story and needs to be told to keep their memory alive and for future generations to see.

Don't be afraid to ask for transfers for anybody. I am totally for it and hope others would do the same for me.
