I was born in Parker County, Texas. But I've lived in Hood County in the Acton community since I was about 9 months of age. We live on the farm that my great-great-great-grandparents settled in the Acton community in 1857 when they moved there from Hamilton County, Tennessee. At that time this area was a part of Johnson County. My paternal great-grandfather, grandfather and father were born on this same farm that we live on today.
