Bio

I am married and have 2 children.
I welcome anyone to contact me who can help with the Daywood side of my family tree. My great great grandparents came to America from Beirut, Lebanon in 1882. I have lots of members I haven't found links to connect them to my branches and would love to get help!!
Other names in my tree include but are not limited too: Ray, Taylor, Jennings, Burleson, Dunnahoo, Joseph, Kanetsky, Lockwood, Romines, and Talk.
I live in Central Texas and don't mind helping anyone who needs help.
I am enjoying adding names and photos and offerings here at findagrave!! ;-)

I am past historian for the newly formed Daughters of the Republic of Texas Chapter Catherine Cynthia Overton , of Manor, Texas.

A POEM:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Ancestor:
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
~~Unknown~~~~~~~~~~
WORDS TO THE WISE:
WE COULD LEARN A LOT FROM CRAYONS:
SOME ARE SHARP, SOME PRETTY, SOME DULL.
SOME HAVE WEIRD NAMES AND ARE ALL DIFFERENT COLORS
BUT THEY ALL HAVE TO LIVE IN THE SAME BOX...
