I understand that this sitcom won't appeal to everyone, though I consider its story to be quite original. The character of the daughter, Violet, is mostly annoying and the humor often falls flat. However, once the focus shifts away from the children and they gradually disappear from the series, it starts to pick up and the more characters are introduced, the better the humor gets. Sometimes, I was really surprised at how much I laughed. It may never reach the level of, for example, a 2-sock rating in terms of quality, but I want to give it a better rating because I gave it a chance and mostly got a decent comedic experience.
