The reign of terror wrought by the Holiday killer continues in Gotham City. With each calculated crime, the stakes rise as tensions boil over between the Falcone and Maroni crime families. As Batman, James Gordon and Harvey Dent race to solve the deadly puzzle, a breach at Arkham Asylum brings villainous players into the game. Based on the critically acclaimed graphic novel, Batman: The Long Halloween – Part Two concludes this gripping chapter in the Dark Knight’s saga. (Warner Bros. Home Entertainment)

The second part felt slightly weaker to me, but still definitely one of those excellent stories that finally received an animated adaptation. See the comment regarding the first part. I just hope that more stories will follow in a film format (even across more parts, why not) and not as chaotically as Death in the Family. ()
I decided to review this two-part comic adaptation of Batman as a whole. The Long Halloween definitely didn’t skimp on the cast. I didn’t expect such a plethora of DC villains, even in my wildest dreams (Calendar Man was a new one for me). Personally, I liked the pessimistic, depression-soaked atmosphere; it fit the story very well. In terms of action, I don't have many complaints; it tries to stay grounded (except for the over-the-top finale), though I’m a bit puzzled by how Catwoman is portrayed as constantly saving Batman’s neck :D But oh well. The final twist was predictable, which is a letdown, but overall, I enjoyed this three-hour ride within the limits. It gets a strong three stars. 7/10 P.S. The opening credits were, in a word, DIVINE! ()
