(Disney+)

Although the Westview chapter may seem insignificant to the overall development of the universe, it is precisely an excursion into the overseas history of television comedy that definitively surpasses genre boundaries for the first time. Yes, in crucial moments, it is once again a Marvel movie that must have action or a battle, but complaining about that quality is the same as criticizing an episode of a series for focusing on a specific theme rather than foreign characters or plots. I am fascinated by how precisely the individual subgenres are captured, how quickly I am able to tune in to each new game, and how quickly it can freeze even disturbing images. Elizabeth Olsen deserved to steal the show for herself in Avengers: Age of Ultron or Avengers: Infinity War, and I am very glad that the leadership of the MCU took this desire to heart. ()
I didn't expect Marvel to become drama anymore either. Ironically, the best episodes are the first two, where at least the humor works, but once it switches to a more serious note and starts discussing scientific, physical, and family bullshit, I found the show incredibly maddening. The action is only there in the last episode and it sucked. It felt like a cheap teen soap from the 2000's and it's boring as fuck on top of that. I fell asleep during four episodes out of nine and nothing has managed to do that in a long time. I suffered so much that I couldn't make it through more than two episodes in a day, and they are only half an hour long. Nothing for me and I'm honestly relieved it's over. 4/10. ()
WandaVision is a show that's great to talk about with friends, but not that much fun to watch. It's just that the fact that there's so much to talk about and discuss (be it aside from form, style, future implications for the MCU, theorizing over references and hints, there's no shortage of it; it's a shame that these theories and hints end up being more interesting than what they turn out to be) makes it considerably deceptive in the flesh and gives the impression that it's actually entertaining. But it's not, the fun is purely on that meta level of "around WandaVision and not about or in it". ()
What a ride! WandaVision is an absolute gem with nothing to fault. I'm thrilled Marvel took a creative leap in Phase Four, delivering such a unique, one-season series. WandaVision overflows with creativity, keeping you guessing from the first episode, only to slowly reveal its brilliance. And just when you think you've figured it out, it wraps up perfectly, leaving you fully satisfied. I went into this with minimal expectations, which made discovering each episode's references and twists an absolute treat. By the time everything clicked, I was genuinely blown away by the writing. It’s been a while since a storyline caught me so off guard in the best way possible. If you’re a Marvel fan and haven't watched WandaVision yet, don’t hesitate—this might be the most original thing Marvel has ever done. It’s far from predictable, packed with homages to decades of television, and crafted with a love for cinema that I couldn’t help but appreciate. ()
Although on one hand I really appreciate the courage to try a very unconventional approach, moreover in the second most popular brand in the entire pop culture, I am one of those to whom sitcom episodes really didn't suit at all. And honestly, I was surprised how many people here in our country really enjoyed it. I consider myself an orthodox Marvel fan, I have seen movies from the first and second phases maybe 10 times and the first series from this universe was simply a must, and I was really looking forward to my favorite character Elizabeth Olsen, even though after the first trailer, I expected the start to be very slow. And in combination with consuming it from January to March, the weekly wait for the next episode really bothered me, even though I obviously enjoy various theories after each episode, however, nothing really surprised me, since all the actors were already talked about in advance, what characters they would play (only with Evan Peters it was a bit more complicated). Well, Disney+ is missing content, so they have to stretch it to two paid months. Personally, I don't like the Netflix binge-watching standard either, the ideal compromise for me would be 2-3 episodes a week. However, back to the series itself. The second half significantly saved my overall impression, and although we didn't end up with the speculated hour-long episodes in the end, I actually looked forward to each episode separately and it pleasantly flew by (although I sometimes forgot it was Friday). As for the promised grandeur comparable to blockbuster movies, I would slightly slow down here, truly action-packed episodes were only in the last two episodes, the setting was just one small town and a makeshift base of one eagerly awaited organization, in which however several episodes nothing interesting happened except for the return of two of my not very favorite characters. So everything remained on the shoulders of the main duo and to my surprise even Kathryn Hahn, whom I will gladly see in the future. Indeed, WandaVision is a victim of these evil times, when it was originally intended as the second TV series creation and the first one was supposed to be somewhat more traditional, but hopefully the planned chronology in the brilliant mind of Kevin Feige doesn't have to change hastily... 70% with scratched ears.
