8/10. I like these zero to hero sports dramas based on true events and this one was very good. Daisy RIdley can't even get in the water at first, she's a typical underdog who will eventually shock the world and change the status of women in sports in general. A nice period setting in 1905 Manhattan, a great Daisy Ridley, you keep your fingers crossed for her, and the final challenge to swim the across English Channel was thrilling and gripping, it was emotional, very heart-warming and pretty. In short, a good film and honest craftsmanship. Story 4/5, Action NE, Visuals/Production design 4/5, Violence/Gore NO, Music 4/5, Suspense 3/5, Pacing 3/5, Acting 4/5. ()
