I can't help it, but I first saw the movie Annie with Quvenzhané Wallis, who captivated me so much that this original Annie didn't impress me as much. Additionally, I didn't care for the title girl, who just wasn't the same. However, the songs are excellent even in the original version. It just didn't excite me as much. ()
