Errol Flynn will likely find it difficult to play a character other than a positive one, so here we have him as a captain in the Civil War, just released from captivity, claiming to know a secret that could help the North. Tough guys, a bit of romance, Humphrey Bogart in one of his weirder roles, and overall, a light above-average film. ()
