The name Bebjak promised a quality crime story, but the result is essentially an average to above-average standard Czech crime drama, which has its strengths mainly in the A-list actors, from whom Bebjak is able to get the most out in his works. This time, the screenplay didn't captivate me that much even though Bebjak shows the investigation from a fairly fresh perspective and honestly portrays the struggles of public officials without sugarcoating. However, I was a bit disappointed by the ending, which felt a bit flat and lacked a certain zest. Well, hopefully next time it will be better. (10.06.2024)
