4  ^dThe Lord is in his holy temple;

the Lord’s ^ethrone is in heaven;

his eyes see, his eyelids ^ftest the children of man.

2  ^eHear, you peoples, all of you;¹

^fpay attention, O earth, and all that is in it,

and ^glet the Lord God be a witness against you,

^hthe Lord from his holy temple.
