26 And they came to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation of the people of Israel in the wilderness of Paran, at ^wKadesh. They brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.

16 After that the people set out from ^eHazeroth, and camped in ^fthe wilderness of Paran.

8 Your fathers did this, ^awhen I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to see the land.

Israel’s Refusal to Enter the Land

19 “Then we set out from Horeb and ^ywent through all that great and terrifying wilderness that you saw, on the way to the hill country of the Amorites, as the Lord our God commanded us. And ^zwe came to Kadesh-barnea.

23 And ^fwhen the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, ‘Go up and take possession of the land that I have given you,’ then you rebelled against the commandment of the Lord your God and ^gdid not believe him or obey his voice.
