Jakmile začne Cath dostávat výhružné dopisy a telefonáty, její manžel trvá na zavolání policie. Když se detektivové Engelhart a Pyne snažíod Cath získat o tomto výhružníkovi informace, začnou mít tušení, že Cath výhružníka zná. Při vyšetřování zjistí, že Cath je nejen obětí, ale i samotným výhružníkem a to aniž by o tom věděla.
