Highway
The Hubbard County Highway Department is responsible for the construction, maintenance and repair of 523 miles of Hubbard County’s roads and bridges. There are 322 miles of paved roads and 201 miles of gravel roads. Our goal is to provide a safe and efficient transportation system for the County’s residents and visitors.
The Department oversees the budget that provides overall management and coordination of all maintenance and construction operations on the county highway system. Funding sources include federal, state and local resources to maintain and reconstruct our transportation system. The Department pursues cooperative projects with other governmental units and partners with contractors and utility companies to ensure efficient construction.
