Kayo Stadium
Kayo Stadium, traditionally known as Dolphin Stadium, is a 10,000-capacity multi-purpose rectangular stadium located in the northern Brisbane suburb of Redcliffe. The venue is owned by the Redcliffe Dolphins Rugby League Club who joined the NRL in 2023 and have long played in the QLD Cup.
Originally opened in 1979, the stadium has been significantly upgraded in recent times, firstly with a new 3,500-seat western grandstand completed in mid-2016, followed by the new eastern grandstand completed in mid-2018 to boost the seating capacity up to 7,000 as well as the Dolphins Academy and upgraded field and dressing room facilities. Stage 3 was completed in September 2020 which included a new northern grandstand, change rooms and second video screen. The stadium now features grandstand seating for 8975 spectators, 445 corporate seats and some standing room enabling a total capacity of around 10,000. Broadcast quality lighting was installed at the venue in early 2023.
Kayo Stadium hosts at least three NRL Premiership home games for the Dolphins from 2023, with most of the club's home games to be played at Suncorp Stadium. The venue has previously hosted NRL games for the NZ Warriors during Covid, many pre-season NRL games featuring various clubs, Queensland Cup Grand Finals and A-League and W-League matches for the Brisbane Roar.
The Dolphins announced a new four-year naming rights deal with Kayo Sports in December 2022, with the venue to be commercially known as Kayo Stadium. Previously, it was commercially known as Moreton Daily Stadium.
