Allianz: 2022 results

Allianz has posted a turnover of 152.7 billion EUR (163 billion USD) as at 31 December 2022, up by 2.8% compared to the 148.5 billion EUR (168.2 billion USD) posted at the end of 2021.

The German group has ended the 2022 financial year with a slight increase of 1.9% in its annual net profit to reach 6.7 billion EUR (7.2 billion USD).

Mainly driven by the good performance of the P&C and life/health classes of business, the operating result has progressed by 5.7% to stand at 14.2 billion EUR (15.2 billion USD). The return on equity (ROE) amounted to 10.3%.

The Board of Directors is set to recommend the distribution of a 10.8 EUR (11.5 USD) dividend per share.

For the year 2023, Allianz is expecting a net income of 14.2 billion EUR (15.2 billion USD).
