Educational Materials

The International Olympic Committee developed several “Hungry for Gold” videos on healthy body image. The “Hungry for Gold” videos are educational tools aimed at athletes, parents, coaches, and support staff, to include administrators, providing valuable information on the Female Athlete Triad and its associated health implications. In these videos, fictional characters are featured describing their personal experiences with the Female Athlete Triad related to a variety of topics, such as, eating and exercise habits, body image, menstrual cycle, injury, and other Female Athlete Triad-related health issues.
