School Visits & Children

The reservation desk for schools and children is closed to 16 February 2020. As from 17 February, it will again be possible to reserve a visit. A pre-reservation form is available here.

An à la carte package allows you to take a tour of the temporary and permanent exhibitions independently with your pupils, then take part in interactive and fun workshops in the presence of our coaches.

Themed workshops

Temporary programme

  • Design your Games – from 16.04.2018 to 9.04.2020
    After learning about the historical Olympic posters, the pupils receive a set of imaginary specifications. Using the graphic elements, they create a poster on a tablet and convey their vision of the YOG Lausanne 2020. 

  • Discussions & Challenges – from 30.04.2019 to 9.04.2020
    invite your pupils to think about respect, friendship, fair play and team spirit. The coach will lead a discussion between your pupils, encouraging them to think about values that are universal, in sport and in everyday life.

  • Lausanne-Tokyo AR – from 28.04 to 30.10.2020
    The pupils will learn about the history and culture of Japan, and will be invited to express their creativity by producing an “augmented collage” on tablets using a library of images inspired by Japanese culture.

Permanent programme

  • Destination Olympia
    The children learn about the origins of the Olympic Games. They compare sports equipment from the past with the present and imitate the sports disciplines practised in Antiquity.

  • All Different, All Winners
    The participants explore various key notions of civics education, following a route featuring games, questions and group activities. The participants have their own notebooks and explore these notions independently.
