Since 2013 Bayer's Integrated Annual Report combines our financial and our sustainability reporting. Integrated reporting means that Bayer will no longer publish a separate Sustainable Development Report. Our aim in integrating the two previous publications is to elucidate the interactions between financial, ecological and societal factors and underline their influence on our company’s long-term development.

The Annual Report is available in a print and an online version. The online Annual Report contains supplementary information and is therefore called the "Augmented Version." This additional information, which can only be found online, is referred to in the printed version as numbered "Online annexes."
 

Until 2012 we demonstrated in our Sustainable Development Report how we create a sustained balance between economy, ecology and social responsibility and what contribution we make to sustainable development worldwide, fully in keeping with our Mission Statement: “Bayer: Science For A Better Life.” Since 2013 the Bayer Sustainable Development Report is integrated in the Annual Report.
