Employee Spotlight Interview: Jekka K.
Jekka came to work on the Quantcast corporate sales team after spending a year teaching English in China and Thailand. Although she didn’t come from a sales background, Quantcast’s robust training program allowed her to quickly get up to speed. Jekka says that the skill set she developed from teaching has been particularly useful in Sales at Quantcast, because the technology we sell is so new it’s often necessary to educate prospective clients about our offerings at the same time as selling our product.
Employee Spotlight Interview: Lisa B.
As an Accounting Manager at Quantcast, Lisa is responsible for keeping our finances in order. She decided to come to Quantcast after having been an accountant for many start-ups — her experience told her that Quantcast had a promising business model and a lucrative vision. On the finance team and throughout our company, Lisa says that dedication is a uniting quality.
Employee Spotlight Interview: Daniel V.
The summer before his senior year at Stanford, Daniel came across Quantcast by accident, while demonstrating to a friend how to use the careers page! Daniel came on as Quantcast’s first ever intern and immediately he was given the opportunity to work on big problems like developing our RTB infrastructure, which has since become core to our advertising product. After becoming a full-time employee and working on RTB for three years, Daniel moved to our product team where he is now a Product Manager for Internal Tools. What he still loves most about his job is collaborating with peers who challenge him, and push the envelope, every single day.
Employee Spotlight Interview: Matt G.
As a Quantcast field sales representative based in Los Angeles, Matt strives to find creative ways to bring in new prospects for our business, and build quality relationships with potential clients. Matt’s diverse background in media and audience technology has given him unique industry insights that help him plan unusual and fun promotional events, while sustaining a solid network of relationships with Quantified and soon-to-be Quantified clients. According to Matt, when you work in the field and are not on site at our office, it’s crucial to forge great relationships with fellow Quantcasters and stay in constant communication with the rest of the team.
Employee Spotlight Interview: Mary L.
Mary came to Quantcast from the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO), where she worked on creating predictive models and decision models. For the past year and a half Mary has been a part of Quantcast’s Modeling Team, where her job is to develop and design models that run the engine of the company’s core business. One of Mary’s main projects involves managing the development of a new tool which provides recommendation and optimization on Quantcast’s CPA campaigns.
Employee Spotlight Interview: Brian T.
Brian came to the Web team at Quantcast after having graduated from Carnegie Mellon in 2010 and subsequently working in several start-ups. Brian started out working with product managers on developing our measurement product for mobile platforms and apps. Right away he was expected to help find solutions to big problems. Brian says, “That’s the opportunity that Quantcast presents, to really work on something big right away. You get to have a voice and an influence from the get-go,” which Brian says is a big part of our culture. Great ideas, and the responsibility accompanying them, are valued no matter who they come from.

Jana came to Quantcast almost three years ago wanting a role that could showcase her client-facing strengths—she has not been disappointed. She loves working with clients and the many departments that Client Services interacts with daily. Jana loves the New York office because it is a small, fun environment, where everyone knows each other and the people are awesome. Quantcast has been an exciting experience for Jana because she has helped to shape processes, and been part of the company’s growth from the get-go.

Our HQ is in San Francisco, located in the SOMA district, right across the street from Moscone Center and a short jaunt from AT&T Park. Since this is our corporate headquarters, most of our employees are here. We work in an open space where you will often see engineering stand ups in the middle of the office, scooters racing around, and lots of visitors in and out! When we aren’t in the office, you can find us eating lunch at Yerba Buena Gardens (when it’s sunny), or having a drink across the street at B Bar or at our very local House of Shields.
