Wastewater & Marine Environment Assessment
The CRD protects the health of the marine environment by:
- Studying the effects of sewer discharges
- Implementing a comprehensive liquid waste management plan
- Complying with BC environmental regulations
- Working with industry, businesses, institutions and households to keep contaminants out of the sewer system (Regional Source Control Program)
