Watson earns MVP honours as Rock win NLL title

Bob Watson earned MVP honours in his final pro lacrosse game as the Toronto Rock edged the Washington Stealth 8-7 in the NLL's title game Sunday afternoon. Captian's Call

Colin Doyle was named Wednesday as captain of Canada's team for the world indoor men's lacrosse championship. Doyle, who also captains the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League, will be joined by assistants Dan Dawson and Brodie Merrill. The eight-country tournament begins Saturday, with Canada opening against Slovakia on Sunday. Full Story.
