Resso Snap Kick (裂槍脚 Ressōkyaku?, Rending Spear Foot) is one of Akuma's unique attacks, introduced in Street Fighter 6.

Description[]
Executed by pressing forward and Medium Kick (or pressing forward and Medium Attack for Modern Control), Akuma snaps his rear leg forward and delivers a toe kick.
Tactics[]
This move is a decent short to midrange poke. While it has a 10-frame startup, Resso Snap Kick can be used to keep the opponent at a distance and stop them from advancing. Even though it is -4 on block, it can be difficult for the opponent to punish if properly spaced. However, Akuma is +5 if he hits the opponent with this move. If he's within range, he can link into one of his Light normals to convert into a combo for respectable damage. In addition to keeping the opponent back, Akuma can also use Resso Snap Kick to finish for Counter Hits that can lead into slightly more damaging combos.
