Disclaimer: The name for the following attack is only conjectural - the attack's real name is unknown and a placeholder is used instead.

Flash Bomb Hadoken

Sakura using the Hadoken as a flash bomb against Ken.

The Flash Bomb Hadoken (閃光爆弾波動拳 Senkō Bakudan Hadōken? , "Flash Bomb Surge Fist" or "Flash Bomb Wave Motion Fist") is a variant of the Hadoken only used by Sakura Kasugano in the manga Sakura Ganbaru! during her fight with Ken Masters. This is the only version of the Hadoken that hasn't been in any main series, crossover, or spin-off Street Fighter related game.

Description[]

Sakura Ganbaru![]

During her fight with Ken Masters, she attempts to fire a Hadoken only to be kicked in the neck. Ken tells Sakura that she builds up her ki too slowly when charging up a Hadoken. Regardless, Sakura tries again and Ken attempts to go in for a knee strike, telling her that he already pointed out how her Hadoken leaves her wide open. However, due to Sakura's quick thinking and resourcefulness, she proceeds to use the projectile as a flash bomb instead and leaves Ken blinded, leaving her enough time to jump up and unleash a string of attacks ending with the Midare Zakura, her version of Ken's Shoryureppa.

Trivia[]

  • The inspiration for this conjectural name comes from Karin's reaction to seeing Sakura use this version of the Hadoken: "She used the Hadoken like a flash bomb!!"
