Poland had close to 1,000 museums of diverse themes and character, including the Wawel Royal Castle-State Art Collection in Krakow, The Warsaw Rising Museum, the Castle Saltworks - Saltworks Museum Wieliczka, and the Family House of the Holy Father John Paul II Museum in Wadowice. The total
amount of art and antiques sold in Poland in 2022 was more than 434 million zloty. The highest-auctioned Polish old painting was by
Józef Chełmoński created in 1875, which was sold for 4.32 million zloty in 2023. On the other hand, the highest-auctioned Polish contemporary painting was by Wojciech Fangor, titled
"M 39," sold in the same year for the dizzying sum of 7.56 million zloty.

Spending time with family and friends at cultural events is a popular form of leisure in Poland. Concerts accounted for almost 69 percent of the
arts and entertainment mass events in Poland.
Cultural events of various kinds were most popular among young people. The number of organized mass events is on the rise, with the Silesian province boasting the highest number of them, with
