Credit cards and debit cards in the Benelux

Do consumers in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg prefer to use credit cards or debit cards? Although data availability varies per country for reasons, one thing is clear: credit cards are not very popular in the Benelux. This report looks at figures on the use of two different types of payment cards and aims to compare them between the three countries. Figures on contactless card payments are not present here, as these are found in different reports.
