Mental health problems including stress, depression and anxiety, which were caused or worsened by work were most prevalent in London, affecting 61 thousand people. By comparison, 55 thousand people in the North West had reported experiencing work-related stress during that time.

Results are based on the Labour Force Survey (LFS) run quarterly by the Office of National Statistics. Questions concerning work-related illnesses and workplace injury are commissioned annually by the HSE.
