This statistics represents the share of respondents that have carried out crowd work on a weekly basis in their country in Europe in 2016, by gender. Almost all countries had a majority of male crowd workers except the UK who had a total of 53 percent of female crowd workers.
Crowd work is broadly defined as paid work managed via online platforms. This belongs to a part of the online economy that is also sometimes known as collaborative economy or gig economy.
