This statistic shows the level of difficulty of qualifying for a mortgage according to adults in the United States in the fourth quarter 2019, by generation. The majority of Silent Generation respondents believed that it was very difficult or somewhat difficult to afford a mortgage at their current financial situation, while one fifth thought it was not very difficult.
